Why do anything else when you can come watch the Coshocton High School theater department perform another incredible fall play?

The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood will begin their first show at the Coshocton High School auditorium on November 17 at 7:00 followed by a 8:00 showing on Friday and Saturday and then a 7:00 performance on Tuesday, November 22.

This classic story is done as a farce and focuses on Robin Hood completing his quest to save the poor and earn the hand of Lady Marian.

Admission prices for adults are $5 and $3 for students.

Alex Burton who plays Robin Hood said, “I have tried to become as pompous and arrogant as possible,” and, “I try to talk way louder than I actually should and now I do it all the time out of habit.”

When asked about what it’s like performing in front of others, the lady in waiting, performed by Kenzie Potter said, “I like it, it’s exciting! It can, however, be scary because you don’t really get a do-over once you perform.”

Kris Hardesty, who is the director of this comedy is thrilled to work with her students once again. “Don’t just come once, but come several times because it’s so fun and creative that I think every performance will be different and you just don’t know what to expect!”
